it all started with the word Che.
Che Interiors is a full-service design firm based in San Francisco. We work with clients with residential or select commercial needs throughout the Bay Area.
We believe that home is critical to our mental health and happiness. We also believe the best designs are born out of collaboration—designer and client working together to build a space that feels as beautiful as it is personal.
We’re Planet-first. That means we work with the Earth top-of-mind to make the most sustainable, eco choices possible. We want to make sure we’ve got a lush planet for future generations to enjoy.
WE’RE PEOPLE TOO
A woman-founded, POC-owned business, we believe that black lives matter, housing is a human right, women’s rights are human rights, no human is illegal, science is real, love is love and kindness is everything.
We are committed to creating an equal opportunity business and community. We commit to donating a portion of our income to the Women’s Community Clinic which provides medical care for women, gender non-conforming and transgender people of all identities and sexual orientations regardless of ability to pay.
Mariana Pistone
Founder & Principal Designer
Born in Argentina and raised in various parts of the East Coast USA before making San Francisco her home 15 years ago. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture and Design at the Academy of Art and has since been bouncing within the design world for the last 10 years. She has worked in furniture design, kitchen cabinetry design and sales, and at high-end luxury interior design firms.
Mariana has designed and project managed residential remodels and new builds, big and small, and believes that having strong professional connections and great communication with all parties involved is the key to success. She believes that work should be challenging, rewarding and empowering—but work is work. She’s fervent in her commitment to boundaries and a healthy work-life balance.
Mariana is fluent in both English and Spanish and lives in the Mission where she relishes in the diversity that makes San Francisco so great. She lives with her partner and two cats and when she’s not working, she’s hiking Bernal Heights, making clay jewelry, hanging out with friends and family, watching TV, traveling when possible or enjoying a home-cooked meal.
